Sky+HD Accessibility Settings
Accessibility features in your Sky+HD TV Guide
You can set up the accessibility features you need in the accessibility tab you will find in settings, such as subtitles or audio description options, and select the display that best suits you to make it easier to navigate your Sky+HD TV Guide.
If you need to update your Sky TV accessibility settings, you can do this in your Sky Guide. To access the settings:
1. Press Services on your Sky remote.
2. Use the right arrow button to highlight Accessibility.
3. Press Select
You can customise your Sky Guide with a high contrast colour scheme and a bolder font option to make it easier to navigate.
Here’s how to set it up:
1. Press the down arrow to highlight Increase Sky+ Contrast and Font Size
2. Using the left or right arrow you can change the setting to: ON, FONT ONLY, CONTRAST ONLY, or OFF.
3. Make sure you press the green button to save your settings.

Increase Contrast and Font Size also works when the Highlight programmes with Accessibility setting is set to Subtitles or Audio Description.
Subtitled programmes or those with an Audio Description will be highlighted with a blue background and white text.

Note: Within some branded Catch Up channel areas (BBC iPlayer, ITV, All 4 and Demand 5), the contrast setting is not applicable even with the Increase Contrast and Font Size setting ON we can only change the font size.
