Contact Sky using British Sign Language

Customers who prefer to use British Sign Language (BSL) can now contact Sky using BSL by connecting to us through a SignVideo interpreter. 

Follow the steps below to get connected to the Accessible Customer Service team who will be able to support your query.

This video relay service is currently available on a three month trial basis. It's available Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm and it’s free to contact Sky in this way from your home. We offer this service to customers usings Macbooks and PCs that run Windows.

Follow these steps to contact a Sky Accessible Customer Service advisor using BSL:

Step 1: Click on the SignVideo BSL Live icon or this link
Step 2: Connect to a SignVideo interpreter and tell them you are calling Sky customer service
Step 3: You will then be connected to an Accessible Customer advisor

Please note: This video relay service is hosted and provided by SignVideo. The first time you use this service you will need to download a one-off plug-in which is necessary to enable high  quality video and to ensure data security.

In order to use this service there are several basic system requirements which include:

  • Use a PC or Mac with a webcam
  • Use a modern browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer V7, 8 or 9, Chrome or Safari
  • Bandwidth of at least 256 kbp/s upload and download (384kbp/s recommended)
