Audio Description (AD)
Audio description is a service that can significantly enhance the TV viewing experience for blind and partially sighted Sky TV customers. It provides an additional commentary that describes what is happening on the screen for people who have difficulty seeing the action, body language, facial expressions, costume or scenery. Audio description is available now and is easy to activate on all Sky set-top-boxes. Using your remote control there are 4 steps to follow in order to try the service, if it’s available on the programme you are watching. First press Help, then down, right and finally, select.
